This was one of my four entries in the Golden Demon UK 2022 painting competition. 

It took me around 80 hours to build and paint.

When I convert a miniature or prepare a scene I like to reuse bits and pieces from other models, and that is basically what I did here. 

I wanted to create a tribute to the two entries that helped my win two Slayer Swords in the years 2001 and 2007: a Space Wolf and a Carnifex. In fact the number 07 over the door marks that second year.

I am happy of how the scene turned out, especially since I only have been painting single miniatures for the last 10 years.
